Hi, I’m Erik Hupjé, founder of Reliability Academy and author of the Road to Reliability™ Framework.
For more than 25 years I’ve worked in asset management, and specifically maintenance and reliability, across upstream oil & gas and other asset-intensive industries. I’ve worked in the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, the Philippines, Oman, and Australia.
And everywhere I went, I saw the same thing: teams stuck fighting fires. Good people running from one crisis to the next, with no time to look ahead and fix what keeps breaking. Not because they didn’t care or weren’t capable, but because no one had ever shown them a simpler way.
Here’s the frustrating part. As an industry, we already know how to run a reliable plant. That knowledge just rarely reaches the people who need it most: the maintenance teams doing the work every day.
So I built the Road to Reliability™ Framework, a simple, proven way to stop fighting fires and start building stable, profitable, safer plants.
